Some of our parts are no longer available, so we have to recondition old parts which is why we ask for a surcharge when you buy one of our reconditioned/exchange units.
We issue a surcharge for you to return your old unit to us so your old unit can reconditioned and re-sold to keep the cycle going. As the vehicles are 30+ years old if we didn’t do this there would be no parts available for you to buy.
Once your unit has been received and checked we will refund your surcharge back on to your card. We cannot accept old units that have been taken apart/burnt out incomplete or tampered with in any way if the unit is un-reconditionable we will not refund the surcharge.
We ask you to return old unit within 14 days and include a copy of your invoice so we can refund your surcharge as soon as possible.
We can arrange a collection of your old unit but there is a charge for this. Please give us a call for a quote
As the vehicles are now 30+ years old some parts have been made differently or are copies of the original but they will have been tested and checked to make sure they are suitable for the job. Many of our parts come from FORD which is now situated in Turkey where they still make FORD trucks.
We are also in the process of having some parts made by engineers in the UK.
Please let us know when you order if no one is going to be available to sign for your part when it is delivered, we can instruct the courier to leave it in a chosen Safe place or with a neighbour. Please note they will take the item back to the depot for your collection if there is no one to sign for your goods.
